What is Rooted?
Rooted is an 8-week small group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. Together, in a group of 8-10 people from all walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share stories, and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. These spiritual rhythms aren’t new, or something the church recently created, every one of them is found in Acts 2 where the early church began. If you want to grow in your faith and learn more about these rhythms, Rooted is for you.
Rooted is available twice a year in Spring and Fall and costs $50 per person. This includes your meals and book for the entire 8 week course. There is a capacity limit on this course of 20 participants.
What Happens?
Rooted runs across 8 weeks with 8 sessions. Each session is based on content in the ‘Rooted’ book included in your registration. You will go through the readings each week with your group and facilitator. Each week is a different topic ranging from the bible, God, strongholds, spiritual gifts, serving, money, suffering and more. It also includes a midweek serving opportunity with your group for a local community partner. On week 8, we come together with the Alpha Course for a night with the Holy Spirit.

What is Rooted?

How do I register?

What if I cannot make all 8 weeks?
We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it is worth it to invest in the entire process. If you know you are going to miss more than 2 meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted. The 8 weeks are a cumulative experience, and so we ask that every participant commit to honor each other with being at every meeting.
How do the groups work?
We form groups of married couples, singles, women, men, and young adults. These groups ultimately depend upon the demographic of those who registered. A substantial amount of prayer and thoughtfulness goes into creating groups which we think will provide the best experience for all people who attend. While we do our best to honor requests when possible, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all friend or leader requests.
What is the difference between Alpha & Rooted?
Alpha is for people unsure about faith. Rooted is for those already following Jesus and wanting to go deeper.
How much does Rooted cost?
Rooted costs $50.00 per person. This includes your meals and book for the 8 weeks. (around $7 a week!)
