The Alpha Course
What is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the big questions of life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. We intentionally create a relaxed and low-pressured atmosphere so no question is ‘off the table’ and everyone is welcome. Alpha has been running all over the world for the last couple of decades in churches, pubs, prisons & homes where nearly 30 million people have taken part and loved the experience.
What Happens at Alpha?
Alpha runs across 8 weeks with 8 sessions. We kick off with a launch party and then each week there will be an engaging 25min film on various topics. After you’ve watched, you’ll join others to engage in an open, honest discussion. This term, Alpha is meeting together in person. Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend too!

How long does it last?
Alpha is a series of 8 sessions. You are welcome to try it one week to see if it’s a fit for you. There’s no pressure to return.
What happens at Alpha?
Whether in person or online, each Alpha offers a time of connection to build relationships, a talk, and then space for conversation about the content of each talk. In that discussion, you can share what you think—as much or as little as you want—and nothing is off limits.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! Alpha is open to anyone.
How much does Alpha cost?
